Weekend weather report
As it has been these last few days, meteorologists predict that Paris should prepare for a hot weekend ahead, as high temperatures near the 100° F mark, the heat index will likely make it feel like triple digits.
According to meteorologists with the National Weather Service, it will be partly cloudy on Saturday, with a morning and evening low forecasted at 77° and a high temperature at a sweltering 97°. There will be a south/southwest wind blowing at around 11 mph and a 20% chance of rain.
That will change quite a bit on Sunday, as we have a 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms, but none of these storms look to have any potential of being severe.
Unlike the usual cooling down that rain would normally bring, it will still be very hot. The high on Sunday is 96° and the low, 76°. There will be a southwest wind blowing at around 10 mph.
According to weather reports at the time of this writing, the start of next week will be even hotter — Monday high: 98°, low: 76°.
The warmth doesn’t look to be subsiding anytime soon, and current forecasts say that it will consistently stay in the high nineties for the remainder of next week.
The best weekend plans should probably involve a pool or the lake — or the air conditioner.
