CodeRED Advisory issued for dense fog until 10 a.m. today — use caution while driving

The City of Paris has issued a CodeRED Advisory for the possibility of dense fog that could create hazardous driving conditions this morning.

FOG HAZARDA dense fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m.

The National Weather Service says visibility around, or less than, one-fourth mile is likely along parts of the Red River. Patchy areas of visibility of one-fourth mile or less is likely east of the U.S. 75/Interstate 45 corridors.

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving,.slow down. Use your low-beam headlights and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
