Chili Supper and Auction to benefit Blossom Volunteer Fire Department
The Blossom Volunteer Fire Department is presenting their annual fundraiser, a Chili Supper and Auction, on February 8th at the Blossom Elementary School Cafeteria.
Serving starts at 5:00pm and the auction starts at 6:00 p.m. They will be serving hot or mild chili, Frito pie, hot dogs, regular or jalapeno beans, corn bread and tea. Tickets are $6. Children 6 years and under eat free.
They will be serving until approximately 9:00pm, or until people stop showing up. The Chili Supper and Auction is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Blossom Volunteer Fire Department and they hope to bring in enough money to buy much needed equipment.
Karee Stover, President/Captian of the Blossom VFD, states, “This equipment protects our firefighters who in turn protect the community. Also, we would greatly appreciate anyone wanting to bring a pie, cake or home made craft to donate for the auction. It can be dropped off at the Blossom Elementary School Cafeteria after 10:00AM on Feb. 8th or bring it with you when you come.”
