Christmas hits Red River Valley Fairgrounds

ChristmasInFairPark_22Chilly temperatures helped lend a holiday atmosphere to this year’s Christmas in Fair Park as shoppers visited Red River Valley Fairgrounds a week later than usual.

The event was scheduled for Dec. 6-7, but last week’s winter storms delayed it until this weekend.

The Community Exhibit Center, Building “B”, West Side Building, and the Coliseum all featured booths and exhibits from local businesses and craftsmen with holiday gifts and decorations Friday evening and all day Saturday.

There were also food concessions and children’s entertainment, including a chance to visit and have pictures made with Santa Claus.
