Paris Junior High Basketball Results

paris high logoThe PJH boy’s basketball teams hosted Atlanta last Thursday night for three games.

The eighth grade B Team played a back and forth game against the Rabbits last night that came down to the wire.  The Wildcat offense was led by Keshawn Ellis who had eight points from inside the paint, and point guard Jordan Mitchell  added six. Wesley Gage and Adreon Garvin turned in solid defensive games with multiple steals for the Wildcats.  Final score, Paris 20- Atlanta 19.

The seventh grade A Team turned in a solid team performance in their game against Atlanta.  They were led by point guard Ty Garvin who scored 12 points, Davarius Douglas had six , and Jalen Henderson had five.  The Wildcats played good full court defense on the night and were led by TJ Williams and Jalen Nelson who dominated the boards.  Final score Paris 34, Atlanta 10.

The eighth grade A Team came out hot against the Rabbits outscoring them 15 to 0 in the first quarter.  Offensively the Wildcats were led by Josh Robinson who had 13 points. Jordan Furtch scored 10 and Daz Mason chipped in six from the paint.  Full court pressure defense led to multiple steals and turnovers for the Wildcats.  Zyan King, Montana Payne and Demtric Glover had great defensive games last night.  Final score Paris 38, Atlanta 10.  The Wildcats will host Pittsburg on Thursday.
