A tight game was decided in the sixth inning as the Panthers fell to Pleasant Grove 5-4 in seven innings on Tuesday.

The top of the first saw the Panthers take an early lead, 1-0.

Pleasant Grove quickly matched the Panthers’ strong inning with a one-run inning of its own in the first.

Pleasant Grove survived the Panthers’ surge and put up two runs of its own in the third. Pleasant Grove scored on a hit by pitch and a groundout by Jarod Bayless.

The game was never in doubt after the sixth, as Pleasant Grove scored two runs on an RBI double by Joe Pearlman.
