North Lamar Pantherettes get big win in final pre-district game

NL LOGOThe North Lamar Pantherettes only needed three innings to defeat Crandall on Wednesday afternoon. North Lamar put up 15 runs in the first inning and another five in the second inning as they cruised to a 20-0 victory.

Sarah Penrose pitched all three innings for North Lamar. She only allowed three hits and struck out two. Penrose also went 2-2 at the plate and drove in four runs, including a home run. Kayla Igleheart finished 1-2 at the plate and also had four RBI. She also hit a home-run for North Lamar. The other home run came off the bat of Bailey Jones, who went 2-2 with three RBI.

Erin Scholl finished 3-3 with three RBI while Delaney England two RBI for the Pantherettes. Bailee Nickerson, Balee Brown and Tanna Huie each had one RBI for North Lamar.

The Pantherettes will open up District 13-3A play against the Paris Lady Cats on Friday night. The game will be at Paris and is set to begin around 6:00 p.m.
