Paris Lady Cats Trounce Liberty Eylau

The Paris Lady Cats moved closer to another playoff berth in basketball. The Lady Cats jumped out to a 19-4 lead after the first period and 37-13 after the first half. That’s all they needed en route to a  62-36 victory.

The Lady Cats dominated on both ends of the court as well. The Lady Cats forced 30 turnovers by the Lady Leopards. Paris outrebounded LE 42-33 also, with 23 of those rebounds coming on the offensive side of the ball. Of the 30 turnovers forced, 12 of them were steals.

Paris was led in scoring by Jazz Pipkins, who had 18. Pipkins also had 14 rebounds for the Lady Cats to go along with three steals. Katelyn Looney finished with 11 points, including three from downtown. Paige Dixon had 14 points for Paris as well.

Paris will play Atlanta on Tuesday night at home. Tip is set of approximately 6:00 p.m.
