North Lamar 8th Grade Basketball Results

NL LOGOStone Middle School 8th Grade Boys Hoops Teams traveled to Pittsburgh on Thursday, January 23 and came away with a pair of wins.

In the B game, the Panthers fell behind early but outscored the Pirates 8-0 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 22-16 win.  Levi Ramsay scored the go ahead bucket for the Panthers and Brody Evans had two steal and scores in crunch time for North Lamar.  Josh Dangerfield led the Panthers again with seven points and Luke Larkins added six.  Chase McKlesky added three for the Panthers.  The B team is 3-3 on the year.

In the A game, North Lamar was in control from start to finish and won 34-12.  Matt Gibbons controlled the boards for North Lamar with 14 rebounds and scored four points.  Tyler Hill led the Panthers in scoring again with nine points and four assists.  Austin Exum scored four and Cody Williams rebounded well and scored three as did Travis Coston. Travis also hit a three-pointer.  Zeke Wood and Seybian Holt both chipped in with two a piece for the Panthers who moves to 6-4 on the season.
