North Lamar 8th Graders Results against Paris Junior High

NL LOGOThe Panther Boys A team dropped a close game against Paris at North Lamar with the final score 30-25.  After falling behind 11-0 in the first quarter, the Panthers clawed back to within 3 but fell short in the end.  The loss puts NL in third place in district with a 3-2 mark.  Tyler Hill led NL offensively with 13 points and Austin Exum had another strong defensive performance and scored seven.  Matt Gibbons and Cody Williams each had 7 rebounds for NL.

In the 8th B game, the Panthers took a three point lead into the 4th quarter against Paris but got outscored 10-3 in the final quarter to drop the game 22-18.  Josh Dangerfield hit three from behind the arc for nine points and Ben Dong chipped in four.  Seth and Ashton Carter played well defensively for NL who dropped to 2-2 on the season.
