North Lamar Pantherettes Dominate Third Quarter in Win Over Rains

The North Lamar Pantherettes outscored Rains 17-2 in the third quarter on their way to a 53-35 win inside the North Lamar gym. North Lamar trailed 22-18 at the break but came out determined in the third quarter. The Pantherettes didn’t shoot the ball extremely well as they shot 30% from the field. However, they held Rains to only 22% shooting. North Lamar really set themselves apart though at the free throw line. The Pantherettes got to the stripe 27 times, making 21 of them. Rains only made it to the charity stripe 13 times as they made nine of theirs.

The Pantherettes were led by Lexie Chancellor with 19 points. Kylie Halstead finished with 10 points and Hanna Igleheart had nine.
