The Paris Wildcats suffered a tough 64-61 loss to the Sulphur Springs Wildcats on Tuesday.

“We’re doing too many things to lose games,” Coach Billy Mack Steed said. “We’re missing too many easy shots and giving up too many offensive rebounds.”

In the loss, the Wildcats also shot just over 50 percent (11/21) from the free throw line. Steed also said the team missed too many layups and has to do a better job blocking out and rebounding the ball.

Roy Jones led the way for the Wildcats with 16 points. Selijah Johnson finished with 15 points. Adrian Beamon had nine points. Ronyae Bell and K.D. Scott both finished with eight points. Don T. Ridley had three and Marc Bawcum finished with two points for Paris.
