The North Lamar girls track team finished in first place Monday at Prairiland with 210 points. Prairiland came in second with 129 points. North Lamar, as a team, brought home five 1st place medals, nine, 2nd place medals, and five third place medals.
Kodi McKnight tied the North Lamar school record in Pole Vault with a jump of 9 ft – 6 in. This is the second year in a row that McKnight has accomplished this.
In the High Jump, Kara Erickson tied a record that was set over 20 years ago as she cleared 5 ft – 10 in.
