The North Lamar Pantherettes played in Prosper over the weekend for a tournament. North Lamar played five games and came out victorious in two of them.
The Pantherettes lost to Centennial from Frisco 14 – 1 in three innings, Hallsville 6 – 1, and Pilot Point 7 – 0.
The girls had wins against Prosper and Lindale. The Pantherettes knocked off Prosper 7 – 4. Delaney England had a double and two RBI, while Ashleigh McFatridge, Heather Hodges, and Balee Brown all had one RBI. Sarah Penrose got the win on the mound for North Lamar.
Aided by a nine run third inning, North Lamar beat Lindale 10 – 5. Kelsie Allen had two RBI to lead the Pantherettes. Delaney England, Ashleigh McFatridge, Sarah Penrose, and Tanna Huie all had one RBI each. England picked up the win for North Lamar.
