North Lamar Pantherettes Get Shut Out Against Sulphur Springs

NL LOGOTuesday night is a night the Pantherettes hope to forget real soon. Coming off a game in which they hit the ball pretty well and scored eight runs against Community, North Lamar was shut out on Tuesday night. The Pantherettes didn’t get a hit in the 9-0 loss to Sulphur Springs at North Lamar Pantherette stadium.

Haley Hostetler, Kelsie Allen and Balee Brown all had walks and that’s the only base runners the North Lamar had. The game was scoreless through three innings but Sulphur Springs scored four times in the fourth, once in the fifth, and four more in the seventh.

The Pantherettes won’t have to dwell too much on the loss as they travel to Prosper on Thursday for a tournament.
