North Lamar Dominates Bulldogs in 7-0 Win

NL LOGOThe North Lamar Panthers started off the baseball season Monday night in dominating fashion. The Panthers welcomed Cooper to town and behind some dominating pitching walked away with a 7-0 win.

Kyle Britt pitched 5 1/3 innings and only allowed one hit, and he struck out nine. Trevor Huie pitched the final 1 2/3 innings and recorded five strikeouts while giving up two hits and walking one batter. Along with his dominating pitching performance, Britt also went 1-2 at the plate with an RBI. Huie chipped in two RBI’s on a two hits as well. The Panthers will play this weekend in a tournament in Pittsburg.
