North Lamar Boys Soccer Results

NL LOGODue to canceled game on Tuesday, North Lamar Boys Soccer finally saw action on Friday against Royse City. However, the Panthers came up short against the Bulldogs, losing 2-0. Still “fine tuning” the player position and game plans, North Lamar had the pressure on Royse City through out the first half, ending the half 0-0. The Bulldogs came out and scored 2 in the second while the Panthers could not find the goal after multiple shots.

“Still fine tuning the positions and see players in different spots tonite. I am proud of their play and look forward to two games next week, getting ready for district”  Head Coach Lance Johnson said.

The North Lamar Junior Varsity team lost 3-2 to the JV Bulldogs. Victor Durantes and Hunter Love scored for the Panthers. The Panthers kept it close with the 3-2 half time score, while both teams played to an 0-0 second half.

“Once again, a great game for these guys. We were short handed, but everyone pulled their weight and played up beyond their potential” said Coach Mark Caldwell.

NL will be in action again on Tuesday, Feb. 5th, as they travel to Pittsburg. JV at 530pm and Varsity at 715pm.
