After being down 11-0 after the 1st quarter, the North Lamar boys 8th grade A team defeated Paris on Thursday in a close game with the final score being 26-25. Menderiz Grey led the Panthers in scoring with nine points. Maverick Priest had four points, all in the decisive 4th quarter including the go ahead bucket. Tyler Biard and Jake Stewart each scored three points and rebounded well for the Panthers. Other scorers for the Panthers were, John Folse with three points, Javon Franklin two points and Sam Cowling two points.
The 8th grade B team lost to Paris 22-10.
