Paris Police Reports on Two Weekend Crimes
45-year old Jesse Black, of Paris, was arrested by Paris Police Officers at about 6:05 P.M. on Saturday, August 2, 2014 in the 1400 block of Tudor St for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Officers reported responding to a call of an accident where a vehicle had struck a tree. Black was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
On Sunday August 3rd, 28 year old Chasity Nicole Williams, of Paris, was arrested at about 4:52am when officers responded to a disturbance at George Wright Homes.
Officers were advised by the victim that he had been cut by Williams after they had arrived at the location together. The victim stated that he had thought that Williams was too intoxicated to drive and attempted to remove the keys from her vehicle to keep her from leaving.
The victim advised that Williams then removed a box cutter from the glove box and then cut both of his hands.
The victim did not seek medical treatment at the time of the report. Williams was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
