Paris man charged with manufacture/delivery of methamphetamine
A 43-year-old Paris man was arrested shortly before 2 a.m. today during a traffic stop in the 700 block of West Austin Street.
Howard Paul Browner, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to be in possession of several small packages of methamphetamine, and it was determined that he also had outstanding felony warrants, said police department spokesman Curtis Garrett said.
“Along with the warrants, Browner was charged with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance,” Garrett said.
Paris police responded to 100 calls for service in the 24-hour period ending Wednesday morning, resulting in the arrests of five individuals, Garrett said.
