Paris man arrested for failing to register as sex offender
A 39-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for failing to register as a sex offender after he moved from Paris.
Eduardo Terrell Hill was taken into custody about 9:45 a.m., police department spokesman Curtis Garrett said, “on a warrant stemming from an investigation where Hill had violated the requirements of registering as a sex offender.”
“The investigation showed that Hill had violated those requirements when he moved from Paris and failed to notify his registering agent of the move,” Garrett said.
Hill was booked into the Lamar Counthy Jail shortly before noon on Tuesday and was released about 40 minutes later after posting $8,000 bond.
Paris police responded to 102 calls for service on Tuesday, resulting in the arrest of six individuals, Garrett said.
