Four arrested after Narcotics investigation

2048On December 14, 2012 Lamar County Sheriff Narcotics, in cooperation with Paris Police Narcotics Officers, executed a narcotics search warrant in the 600 block of SE 9th Street, Paris, Texas.

According to the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department, this investigation has been ongoing for several weeks.

While executing the search warrant, Narcotic Officers arrested several subjects at the location:  Taylor Clark w/m, Derick Clark w/m, and Caroline Thomson w/f, also arrested was Leann Byrum w/f for Theft of Property.

During the search, investigators from the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office and the Paris Police Department found several pieces of stolen property and joined in the effort of recovering the stolen property to the numerous thefts and burglaries recently reported in the City of Paris and Lamar County.

Also in the search, investigators found stolen property identified to reports taken by Hugo Police Department in Oklahoma.

Officers further recovered in the search over 6000.00 dollars in cash and items used to weigh and package narcotics.

“This case is a prime example of what is being done daily and achieved through good working relationships and police work from both agencies to clean up our streets and neighborhoods,” stated Scott Cass fo the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office.
