Murder charge is among 14 indictments handed up by Lamar County grand jury

A Lamar County grand jury has handed up 14 indictments to 6th State District Court Judge Eric Clifford, including 24-year-old Angela Beth Villines in the Sept. 29 stabbing death of a man who reportedly was her mother’s boyfriend.

The stabbing occurred at a residence in the 600 block of Hearon Street in Paris.

The grand jury also indicted:

  • Aaron Bryan Callaway, 23, of 819 Lamar Ave., Paris, theft over $1,500 but less than $20,000 (repeat offender).
  • Michael Shane McMillan, 42, of 4266 CR 33900, Powderly, prohibited sexual contact, seven counts.
  • Evan Mitchell Cobb, 20, of 3735 Smallwood Drive, Reno, theft of ovder $1,500 but less than $20,000.
  • Wayland Gilbert, age and address unavailable,  evading arrest (previous conviction).
  • Lacey Lee Hines, 26, of 438 FM 2121, Paris, theft under $1,500 (two previous convictions).
  • Jeffery McDonald, 41, of 753 CR 42400, Paris, three counts sexual assault of a child; three counts indecency with a child; burglary of a building.
  • Michael Shane McMillan, 42, of 4266 CR 33900, Powderly, prohibited sexual contact, seven counts.
  • Gary Wayne Patton, 55, of Quinlan, theft of more than $1,500 but less than $20,000.
  • David Wayne Perry,  39, of 1523 Bonham St., Paris, burglary of a building, repeat offender.
  • Lonnie Earl Robins, 43, of 744 Sycamore, Paris, assault, family violence (prior conviction).
  • Mark Anthony Somers, 28, of 403 9th St. SE, Paris, abandon or endanger a child with bodily injury, two counts.
  • John Patrick Toppings, 42, of 6650 Pine Mill Road, Reno, injury to a child, reckless bodily injury.
  • Chantez Dasha Washington, 23, of Blossom, forgery of a financial instrument, two counts.
  • Dominic Dorell Williams, 27, of Dallas, burglary of a habitation (repeat offender).
