Teachers at NL alternative school: student threatened to assault them with a pole
Two teachers at North Lamar’s alternative school called the school district’s resource officers and reported that a student threatened to assault them with a metal pole.
The individual was taken into custody Wednesday and transported to the Greenville Juvenile Detention Center pending a detention hearing.
No injuries were reported.
Curtis Garrett, public information officer for the Paris Police Department, said in the 24-hour period ended Thursday morning, Paris officers arrested six people – five on warrants and one on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
