The Paris Community Theatre’s Haunted Theatre has always been a big draw at the Pumpkin Festival, drawing big crowds and long lines.
This year the PCT Board decided to expand the Haunted Theatre. Not only will the Haunted Theatre be open two extra nights – the night before Pumpkin Festival, Friday, October 25th and also Halloween night, Thursday, October 31st – but the Haunted Theatre will be even more scary as it tells “The Legend of Annabelle.”
For those not familiar with local lore or have not worked late nights in the theatre alone, Annabelle is the alleged ghost of the Plaza Theatre.
New this year is also the “Fast Pass.” Several local retailers including Green Boutique, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Paris Baby, Creative Candy, Lillian Kelley’s, Spanglers, Paris Optical and the Paris Chamber of Commerce as well as the PCT Box Office are selling these “fast passes” for ten dollars that allow purchasers to go to “the front of the line” for entry into the Haunted Theatre, any of the three nights. 50% of the fast pass purchase price goes to PCT and the other 50% goes to support the Paris Downtown Association.
The Haunted Theatre will be open Friday, October 25 from 5:30-9:30pm, Saturday, October 26 from 11am-4pm and Thursday, October 31st from 5:30pm-9:30pm. Regular tickets are $3 each and can be purchased at the door. Fast passes are $10 and can be currently purchased at any PDA retailer.
The PCT “Haunted Theatre” is sponsored by the Paris Downtown Association and Eparisextra.com.
