Two individuals from Oklahoma were arrested and their vehicle was seized after a traffic stop about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in which chemicals known to be used in the manufacture of methamphetamine were found.
Rodney Wayne Boyett, 34, and Jessica Ercell Boyett, 26, both of Rattan, Okla., were placed under arrest in what was described as a cooperative effort between the Paris Police Department and the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department.
Curtis Garrett, spokesman for the police department, said officers have been investigating a case in which subjects were manufacturing methamphetamine.
