Paris ISD implements Ambassador Training Program
Paris ISD partnered with Friends of Texas Public Schools to create an ambassador training program to address attitudes and mindsets pertaining to public schools. The program helps participants step up as ambassadors for themselves, their classrooms, campuses, Paris ISD, and education as a whole.
Community members, administrators, staff, parents and students were invited to attend training sessions. The training gave the attendees some simple talking points and accolades about the district, it broke down some myths about public education and it empowered the participants to share the good news in their circles of influence.
“Our teachers and staff are working incredibly hard in our schools to make sure every student reaches their full potential while in our care. This training gives us the tools to step up and defend our honor, celebrate our achievements, and honor those who work in our schools,” said Paul Jones, Superintendent of Schools.
The training sessions began in October and every day we have ambassadors speaking on our behalf and supporting the district.
