The Panthers offense too much for Liberty Eylau in 14-0 rout
The Panthers shut the door early on Liberty Eylau , capturing a 14-0 victory on Tuesday.
With eight runs in the first three innings, the Panthers left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
A two-run single by Brandon Dusenberry in the first inning and a wild pitch, a fielder’s choice, and a sacrifice fly by Hunter Reeves during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Panthers.
Jacob Cowling racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Panthers. He singled in the third and fourth innings.
Brandon shut down Liberty Eylau while he was on the hill. Liberty Eylau managed just one hit off of Dusenberry, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out eight during his 4 2/3 innings of work.
The Panthers piled on three more runs in the top of the third. A bases loaded walk scored Jacob to get the Panthers on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Daniel Gibbons‘ single, bringing home Chad Box.
The Panthers tacked on another four runs in the fifth. The inning looked promising, as Kyle Dunmon singled, plating Evan Nibblet to kick things off.
