The 7th grade Blue team won vs Atlanta 20-8. Josh Kok started the scoring with a 3 yard TD. The 2 point conversion failed. After a Jarrod Jackson fumble recovery, Josh Daingerfield added a TD from three yards out. Sebastian Stephens punched in the 2 point conversion. Braylen Perrin recovered a fumble on the next defensive possession and Stephens scored on a 70 yard TD run. Perrin then added the 2 point conversion.
The Blue team ran it’s record to 3-2 and 2-1 in district.
The 7th grade Gold team lost 30-14. Sabien Holt scored on a 10 yard scamper. The 2 point conversion failed. Quarterback Matt Gibbons later scored on a scramble from 5 yards out. He also recovered a fumble late in the game. Austin Allison grabbed two catches for 45 yards. Cody Williams, Zeke Williams and Brody Evans all played well defensively.
The Gold team now has a record of 2-3 and 2-1 in district.
Both teams continue district play next Thursday November 1st at Paris.
