The North Lamar 8th grade football team defeated Pittsburg 20-6 on Thursday night. Javon Franklin scored on touchdown runs of 10 and 15 yards. Menderiz Gray also scored on a touch down run of 6 yards. Sam Cowling completed a pass to Jake Stewart for a 2 point conversion. Ty Waggoner, Brandon Halliday, Brantavis Nickerson, Dakota Grissom, Jansen Spann, Kevin Dawson, Cory Woldarczak, and Ryder Bryant led the way up front for the Panthers. Ty Waggoner recovered a fumble and the defense made 2 big stops in the red zone in the second half to preserve the win. The Panthers travel to Liberty Eylau next Thursday, October 18th.
