North Lamar 7th Grade Football Results

The North Lamar 7th Grade Blue Team beat Pittsburg 28-20.

Josh Dangerfield opened up the scoring with a 26 yard TD run.  The 2 point conversion failed. On the next possession Sebastian Stephens scored from 26 yards out on a sweep and he also added a 2 point conversion. Kishan Mistry scored on a 57 yard pass from Hunter Perry and Stephens converted the 2 point play.

They improved their record to 2-1 and 1-0 in district play.

The North Lamar 7th Grade Gold Team also beat Pittsburg 20-12.

Tyler Hill opened the scoring with a 32 yard run and he also added the 2 point conversion. Tyler Reece scored on dive play from 46 yards out.  The 2 point conversion was no good. Matthew Gibbons capped the scoring with a 2 yard QB sneek. Defensive standouts were Roland Haggard and Daniel Tuttle.

The Gold team picked up their first win of the young season, running their record to 1-2 and 1-0 in district play.

Both teams continue district play on Tuesday October 16th at RL Maddox Stadium versus Liberty Eylau.  The Blue team begins the action at 5:00 p.m, and the Gold team will follow.
