The North Lamar cross country team competed in the Saltillo Invitational held at Lake Bob Sandlin on Oct 6.
The varsity girls team, which was comprised of the minimum of five runners, remained undefeated with only 41 points. The second place team of Spring Hill had 92 points.
Individual results: Merilyn Campbell 1st 12:32, Shi Barnett 3rd 13:35, Kara Erickson 7th 12:44, Alina Beck 14th 13:12, and Lydia Klinkerman 16th 13:25.
Varsity boys team, also with five runners, placed second with 90 points behind Pittsburg which had a total of 83 points.
Individual results: Sam Erickson again had the fastest male time of the day with a 17:10 and capturing first place. Kyle Dunmon 7th 18:14, Brian Wintermute 25th 19:29, Ethan Nicholson 27th 19:35, and Levi Porter 30th 19:51.
Junior High girls team placed 2nd.
Individual results: Haley Wintermute 6th 13:28, Lexxi Haage 11th 13:42, Emily Lamonica 13th 13:50, Shiann Rice 18th 14:01, Courtney Middleton 22nd 14:22, Aanalise McClain 28th 14:26, Paige Waldrop 55th 15:16, Jaimelyn Parker 74th 15:50, and Michelle Chavez 86th 16:04.
