The 8th grade football gold team defeated Quinlan Ford 26-0. Javon Franklin scored 18 points on three touchdown runs. Tyler Baird scored a touchdown on a 78 yard run. Javier Smith scored 2 points on extra points. The offensive line was led by Ty Waggoner, Brantavis Nickerson, Kevin Dawson, Ryder Bryant, and Cory Woldarczak. Jansen Spann and Woldarczak each had a sack and Corbin Peralta had an interception to lead the Panthers defense. The Gold team has a game Thursday at 7:00 against Mt. Pleasant.
The Blue team defeated Quinlan Ford 8-6. Joshua Johnson scored the touchdown and Wesley Culbertson completed the 2 point conversion pass to Chandler Morgan for the win. The blue team plays at 5:30 Thursday against Mt. Pleasant.
