North Lamar Junior Varsity and Freshman both win at the Prairiland Tournament. The JV team beat Chapell Hill 25-13 and 25-13. Jaycie McEwin led the Panthers team with 8 kills, Sydney Foy had 4 kills and Sarah Penrose had 6 assists. Then, they beat North Hopkins 25-6 and 25-10. Karlee Alexander and Jaycie McEwin had 3 kills each. Lexi Stephens served 19 straight serves. Next, the Panthers JV beat Paris 25-20 and 29-27. Sydney Foy 5 kills, Sydeny Chadwick 6 assists and Brittany Nichols 8 digs. They beat Prairiland 25-22 and 26-24. Karlee Alexander had 6 kills and Lexi Stephens had 4 kills.
The Freshmen team went 4-0 beating Detroit, Chapell Hill, Paris and Prairiland. Kayla Igleheart, Bailey Jones, Katie Kilcrease and Mallory MIller had a good tournament.
Friday night, the Junior Varsity team beat Paris in district. 25-23 and 25-22. Bailey Jones, Mallory Miller, Karlee Alexander had 3 kills each.
North Lamar Freshmen won in 2. Sydney Chadwick, Michala Smith and Alex Honeywood had good games.
