Cross country runners for North Lamar competed at Prairiland on Saturday, September 22. The varsity girls and boys teams added to last weeks victories by winning first place with 30 points and 54 points respectively. The junior high girls team placed 3rd behind Mt Vernon and Liberty Eylua while the junior high boys placed 1st with 46 points.
Individual varsity girls results: Daisy Rangel 1st 12:35, Merilyn Campbell 2nd 13:24, Kara Erickson 7th 13:58, Alina Beck 9th 14:02, Shi Barnett 11th 14:05, Lydia Klinkerman 14th 14:08, and Abbey Blake 21st 14:48.
Individual varsity boys results: Sam Erickson 1st 16:41, Kyle Dunmon 6th 18:04, Brian Wintermute 13th 19:03, Dakota Ashlock 15th 19:10, Levi Porter 19th 19:39, Ethan Nicholson 37th 20:51, and Ryan Pescaia 42nd 21:27.
Individual junior high girls: Lexxi Haage 6th 14:30, Emily Lamonica 7th 14:32, Shiann Rice 9th 14:52, Hylan Gabeline 23rd 16:09, Paige Waldrop 27th 16:22, Jaimelyn Parker 34th 16:41, Michelle Chavez 55th 18:50.
Individual junior high boys: Jesse Lynch 2nd 12:13, Johnathan Folse 6th 12:50, Sammy Robinson 8th 13:11, Jacob Duren 9th 13:15, Jeremy Lynch 21st 14:40.
The next competition for North Lamar cross country will be Saturday, September 29 at Mt Pleasant.
