The North Lamar varsity cross country teams competed in the North Hopkins Invitational meet on Thursday, Sept 13. Both team started their seasons by winning 1st place. There were 13 teams competing. The girls team won with 53 points. Individual results were: Daisy Rangel 1st 12:41, MerilynCampbell 5th 13:34, Kara Erickson 8th 13:48, Lydia Klinkerman 18th 14:27, and Alina Beck 21st 14:37. The boys team won with 67 points. Individual results were Sam Erickson 1st 16:29, Kyle Dunmon 8th 17:55, Dakota Ashlock 10th 18:12, Jakob McClain 22nd 18:42, Brian Wintermute 26th 18:56, Ethan Nicholson 50th 20:03, Ryan Pescaia 21:45.
The next meet for NL CC will be Sat, Sept 22, at Prairiland.
