Billy Wesley Cochran, 73, of Paris, formerly of Taylortown, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 3:00 pm, Monday, September 1, 2014 in the Pavilion of Union Cemetery at Taylortown with Jesse Ray Cochran officiating. Billy was born August 3, 1941, in Paris to John Wesley & Corrine Gooding Cochran. He was a machinist and later was a truck owner and operator. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kay Hazen. Survivors include five children, Barbara Jean Koetting, Brenda Lynn Cochran, James Wesley Cochran, Tammy Anderson and Kenneth Wayne Cochran, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, one brother, William Cochran & wife Carolyn, two sisters, Jean Hightower and husband Larry and Mary Sue Pankey & husband Mel along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts. RICHARD CHARLES DRAPER 54, of Plano, died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at his home. Funeral services are set for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time Wednesday prior to the service. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. Richard was born July 6, 1960 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Stanley Richard and Carol Joan Crysler Draper. He graduated from Paris High School and Paris Junior College. He was a corporate auditor for SRS Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Draper is survived by his father, Stan Draper of Paris; one brother, Doug Draper and wife, Michelle of Mansfield, Texas; his sister, Diana Owen of Commerce, Texas; two nephews, Cody Draper of Commerce and Jay Owen and wife, Danielle of Jacksboro, Texas and their children, Tristan, Tori and Kraven; one niece, Christina Lindsey and husband, James of Streetman, Texas and their daughter, Rylie; and a host of very dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol J. Draper on March 19, 2012. Pallbearers will be Cody Draper, Jay Owen, James Lindsey, John Golden, Doug Draper, and Oswald Creed. JOYCE MARIE BALLARD, 72, of Paris, died at 6:10 AM, Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Paris Regional Medical Center. A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements. Joyce was born December 10, 1941 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Earl and Thelma Blankenship McConell. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Ballard of Paris; two children, Deanne Harrison of Phoenix, Arizona and Mark Grissom of Paris; and numerous grandchildren.
