Wilma Jeanette Little Wheeler, 83, of Paris passed away Monday August 4, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 6 at Novice Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Cannon and Rev. Mike Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill cemetery under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday 6-8 p.m.
Wilma was born May 5, 1931 in Paris a daughter of Richard Herbert and Elsie Chitwood Little. She married James C. “Dode” Wheeler on April 3, 1948 in Lamar County. She was a homemaker and was employed by Belk Department Store as a sales associate for 28 years. She was a member of Novice Baptist Church. After retirement, she made her delicious homemade pies and served them at the Faught Store. She also counted and kept up with how many she made each year.
She was preceded in death by brothers G.C., Trenton, Robert, Paul and George Little and 1 sister Mary Sue Thompson.
She is survived by her husband James Coleman “Dode” Wheeler; children Jackie Wheeler and wife Becky, Sharon Hindman, Patti Edelhauser and Donnie Springer; Grandchildren and spouses Ricky Wheeler and Kenda, Michella Parker and Jim, Jackie Sue High and Ken, Stephanie Wideman and Justin, Shane Edelhauser and Meredith, Dustin Edelhauser; Great Grandchildren Savannah, Tristan, and Trenton Wheeler; Jake Blackburn, Seth and Cole Parker, Keaton and Koehler High, Ethan, Kaleb and Bryce Edelhauser, and Parker Wideman; 1 Great-Great Granddaughter Sadie Wheeler and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Wheeler, Jim Parker, Ken High, Justin Wideman, Shane Edelhauser and Dustin Edelhauser.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6th, at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Ken Cannon officiating.
Mrs. Ratliff, the daughter of Arthur E. & Alpha Barnard, was born July 16, 1936, in Deport.
On January 24, 1959, she married James W. Ratliff, building 48 years of family and memories before his death on Oct. 6, 2007. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, D’Ann Goggans on Jan. 18, 2007, her parents, and two brothers, Dan Barnard and James Barnard.
Elnora was a member of First Baptist Church. Her career with Uarco spanned more than thirty years before her retirement.
Survivors include her son, James Arthur Ratliff & wife Marilyn of Paris, three grandchildren, Justin Wade Ratliff, Ashley Rae Elkins and Miranda Christine Elkins along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
