She resided at her home in Reno, TX since 1968. Her dedication and service to her church and community touched hearts and changed many lives. Her purpose in life was to encourage people by visiting them in the hospitals and nursing homes. She also prepared meals for the homebound and elderly and loved “her Jesus” and shared the gospel with everyone she met. She was known as the prankster, which brought much laughter and joy to those who knew her. She was one of a kind and was the “mother” to many by taking them into her home and making a lasting impact on their lives. She loved working in the yard, fishing, camping, quilting and sewing. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. Prov 31:30-31.
