Obituaries for Monday, April 7th

weaver001Evelyn Weaver, 97, died on April 5, 2014 following a brief illness. Funeral services are set for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Ferrell officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Cemetery. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. A visitation will be held 45 minutes prior to service.

She was born on March 25, 1917 in Lamar County. She was the daughter of W.E. and Ellen Oliver Campbell.

She graduated from Paris High and married the love of her life, Frank Weaver in Paris on November 13, 1934 and provided care, love and happiness for her husband and daughters. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Williams and husband, George of Paris and Kay McClure and husband, Allen of Dallas; her four grandchildren Cindy Huddleston and husband, Tommy of Paris, David McClure and wife, Tracey, Steven McClure and wife, Jenny, and Jill McClure Genovese and husband, Brian all of Dallas and eight great grandchildren, Micah Huddleston and wife, Tina of Paris and Jordan and Scott McClure, Caden, Will and Ryan McClure and Ella and Cole Genovese of Dallas and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank, grandson, Scott Williams, brother, Troy Campbell, sisters, Lorene McCrum, Clara Robertson and Lelia Lewis.

Evelyn was a wife, homemaker and mother until her daughters were grown and then she and Frank added another chapter to their lives, they were world travelers and loved every trip. She was a past member of the St. Joseph Auxiliary, Paris Golf Club, Elks Lodge and a long time active member of the First Presbyterian Church.

A special thank you is given to Cindy Huddleston, Rachel, Hannah, Tiffany, and Platinum Home Health and Hospice, her loving caregivers, Crystal, Dana, and Vita for their special care and kindness during her illness.

Pallbearers will be David McClure, Steven McClure, Micah Huddleston, Tommy Huddleston, Brian Genovese.
