Craig 1Earlene Craig, 81, of Paris, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at her home.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 19th, at Highway Full Gospel Church with Lawrence Malone officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at a later date in Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.

Mrs. Craig, the daughter of Nathaniel Martin & Martha Blundell Owens, was born March 21, 1932, in Fame, OK.

She was self-employed and enjoyed antiques. Earlene loved music and her church, Highway Full Gospel Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Junior Craig, two sons, Joe Alfred Rosson and George Martin Rosson and a granddaughter, Rebecca JoLynn Rosson.

Survivors include children, Angie Rosson & Bobby Kincaid of Powderly, Thomas Rosson & wife Connie of Paris, Donna Bennett of Paris, Jimmy Rosson & wife Suzette of Powderly, Suzan Bettes & husband Tony of Cooper, Robin Grimley & husband John of Paris, Lori Erwin & husband Mark of Tucson, AZ and John Craig & wife Janette of CA, numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces & nephews.

Browning0001Melba Joyce Archer Cantrell Stachowiak Browning, 75, of Paris, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20th, at Ore City Cemetery in Ore City. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Melba, the daughter of John Wayne Archer & Leola Von Sutherlen Archer, was born June 22, 1938, in Delta County. During her working years she was a bookkeeper for several major companies.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Walter Reese Cantrell, John Joseph Stachowiak and Elmer Eugene Browning, her parents, Wayne & Leola Archer, two brothers, Tillman Archer and Billy Wayne Archer and a sister, Kathryn Archer Songer.

Survivors include three sons, Phillip Cantrell & wife Beverly of Blossom, Steven Cantrell & partner Ricky Gonzalez of Ore City and William “Dusty” Cantrell & Summer Viljoen of Douglasville, GA, brothers, Tommy Archer & wife Linda of Paris, Gary Archer & wife Betty of Powderly and Ronnie Archer & wife Paula of Paris, grandchildren, Kelly Cantrell Freelen of Blossom, Kristy Cantrell Blackshear of Blossom, Tara Cantrell Wadlington of Phoenix, AZ, Jake Cantrell of Avery and Tyler Cantrell of Atlanta, GA, six great grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews  along with a host of friends.

Honorary casket bearers will be: Tyler Cantrell, Jake Cantrell, James Freelen, Colin Blackshear, Ricky Gonzalez and Vance Wadlington.
