Trey Gravan Harvey, 27, of Reno, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with burial following in Meadowbrook Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Trey, the son of Tracy G. Harvey & Denene Johnson Harvey, was born Nov. 13, 1984, in Paris.

He graduated from North Lamar High School. Trey enjoyed auto body work & painting cars. He had worked at Jay’s Paint & Body Shop and was currently employed at Team Richardson.

His father preceded him in death on July 17, 1996.

Survivors include his mother, Denene Johnson, his brother, Zach Harvey & Ashley Mitchell of Paris, Doug Harris & children, Kaitlyn & Garrett Harris, grandparents, Roger & Elna Johnson of Blossom, Charles & Scarlet Harvey of Pattonville and Barbara & Harmon Parker, a great grandmother, Vela Head of Blossom, aunts & an uncle, Tanya Johnson of Blossom & Shawn and April Johnson of Blossom, a great uncle & great aunt, Denny & Peggy Head & their son Chris all of Blossom, cousins, Ryan & Kourtniee Johnson & their son Ryder, Shawna & Jack Brown, Ryley Johnson, Taylor Mauldin and Tate Mauldin along with numerous other cousins & extended family members and  a host of friends including his best friend, Jesse Lee.

Virginia “Ladell” O’Daniel Clay, 94, of Paris, entered her loving Savior’s arms on August 11, 2012, at Paris Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13th, at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Ken Cannon officiating.

She was born in rural Lamar County on May 4, 1918, the daughter of John Walter & Mamie Crabb O’Daniel; graduated from Paris High School, and met and married her husband, John Robinson Clay, while working on a WPA project. John preceded her in death in 1985. She was also preceded in death by five siblings, R. Z. Bailey, Ivan Wallace, and James, Howard & Charlie O’Daniel, and a granddaughter, Shelia Landers.

Ladell loved the Texas Rangers, gardening, fishing, cooking, canning and sharing with others. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Paris, The Berean Bible Club and Bible Memory & Scripture Memory Associations.

Left to cherish her memory are the four children that Ladell & John reared, Shirley Taylor of Paris, Katherine Cooper of Fairview, Mary Ellen Derx & husband Theron “Tad” of Plano and John Clay of Powderly, grandchildren, Virginia “Ginger” Swanson & husband Paul of Broken Arrow, OK, Susan Shannon of Fairview, Seth Shannon & wife Carrie of Rockwall, Hardy Derx & wife Leslie of Plano, Katie Derx of Plano, Lincoln Clay of Dallas and Sloan Clay of Paris, two great grandchildren, Ren Shannon of Rockwall and Megan Sigler-Chapman of Plano along with countless relatives and friends.

James Lee Walls, 52, of Sumner, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12th, at Detroit Cemetery with Rev. David Farmer officiating.

James Lee, the son of Elton & Dorothy Smith Walls, was born Aug. 9, 1960, in Detroit.

While living in Georgia he drove a forklift for a large manufacturing company. He then moved to Sumner to be near his mother.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy  Bauchamp of Sumner, two brothers, Elton Walls of Cleburne and Joe Walls of Wichita Falls, one sister, Diane Simon of Ft. Worth along with a host of extended family members.

The family would like to express their appreciation to friends for help given and especially to Bonnie Dicken & her family for all they’ve done to be of help during this time.
