Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 27th, at Highland Cemetery in Deport with David Hamm officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Crossland, the son of Howard & Pauline Clark Crossland, was born June 21, 1938, in Flag Spring, TX. He graduated from Roxton High School. On Jan. 4, 1958, he married Wilma Grissom, building 56 years of family and memories before her death on April 28, 2014. Raymond owned and operated Crossland Service Station and then Crossland Garage in Pattonville. Raymond serviced and maintained the school buses for East Lamar School and then Prairiland CISD for forty-seven years. He was a member of the Pattonville Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Keith Crossland of Pattonville and Thomas Crossland & wife Dawn of Pattonville, grandchildren, Cody Crossland, Evan Uberal, Beth Uberal, Eric Uberal and Laurilyn Crossland, three sisters, Delores Harrison & husband Don of Telephone, Nancy Landers of Keller and Annette Taylor of Garland, an uncle, Buster Crossland & wife Mary of Pattonville, an aunt, Bonnie Faye Clark of Bonham along with several nieces and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Crossland Family Fund, P. O. Box 144, Pattonville, TX 75468.

Mrs. Wood, the daughter of the late William & Clara Taylor, was born May 16, 1928, in Lamar County. She was married to Alfert E. Wood for 56 years, and he preceded her in death in 2003.
Her parents, 2 daughters; Anita Wilson & Glenda Hines, five brothers, a sister, and a grandson preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons, Josh & wife Jackie of Tahlequah, OK, Carl & wife Valorie of Roxton, Mark of Los Angeles, CA, and Steve & wife Tammy of Paris, two daughters; Brenda Bartgis & husband David of Bethany, OK and Mary Bruton of Paris, a son-in-law, Billy Hines, twenty grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Her family thanks all of her caregivers from Heart to Heart Hospice, Brentwood Terrace Healthcare, and many friends for their acts of love, prayers, and kindness over the past months.
Casket bearers will be her grandsons; Michael Justice, Gary Justice, Roy Reed, Jody Wood, Jamie Wood, Austin Wood, Russell Carroll and Zakary Wood.

Billy Charles Brown. A memorial service will be held at Rattan Cemetery in Rattan, OK. at 10:00 a.m. Saturday 6-28-14 for Charles Brown who passed away June 16, 2014.
