MARJORIE SIEBENTHALL STONE, 92, of Wadsworth, Ohio, formerly of Paris, died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 28, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. No formal visitation hour will be observed, however viewing will be possible from Thursday afternoon until Friday morning at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Darrell and Sandra White. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Marjorie was born August 24, 1921 in Paris to Willie Lewis and Josie Mary Temple Siebenthall. She graduated from Paris High School and Kilgore Junior College. She married Alvis Glenn “Dub” Stone on May 3, 1943 in Paris. He died in April of 1961. Mrs. Stone was retired from Campbell Soup Company as an accountant. She was of the Baptist faith.
After the death of her husband, Marjorie took on the task of raising three children and a sister while working fulltime. This was a difficult situation in the early 1960’s.
Mrs. Stone lived her life for her family caring for children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She was truly a devoted homemaker in the truest sense of the word.
She is survived by two children, Mary Jo Young and husband, Jim of Wadsworth, Ohio and Tommy Stone of Paris; Marla Farmer whom she thought of as her own daughter; three grandchildren, Jeff McCoin and wife, Rose of Kentucky, Teri Wagoner and husband, Mike of Arlington, and Stacy McKnight and husband, Clay of Powderly; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Phillips; Tommy Stone’s life partner, Lonnie Pierson; three brothers; and six sisters.

Ricky Mark Sale, 44, of Blossom, went home to be with his Lord at 10:05 P.M., Monday, February 24, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Word of Life Fellowship with Rev. Jerry McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in the East Post Oak Cemetery with honors by the East Post Oak Volunteer Fire Department. The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Ricky was born on March 29, 1969 in Whitewright, Texas a son of Robert and Barbara Linkswiler Sale. Mr. Sale was self-employed owning Blossom Satellite, served as assistant fire chief with the East Post Oak Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of World of Life Fellowship. Ricky loved life especially caring for his family and was always being the protector. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, cooking out, and always loved putting on a 4th of July fireworks display.
He is survived by his soul mate of 16 years Cecil Wright; his mother Barbara Sale of Chicota; children J.R. Wright and wife Brandi of South Carolina, Clint Burnsed and wife Taffie of Paris; and loved being “Poppy” to his granddaughters Elizabeth and Savannah Wright of South Carolina; brother Stephen Sale of Mt. Pleasant, Tx.; Sisters Dana Sale of Chicota and Sandra Offutt of Blossom; nieces Shannon and Corey and their daughter Addison Paige Haskell of Paris and Tina and Anthony Meyers and their children Cinna and Tate of Rogers, Arkansas; his faithful companion his dog “Pepe”. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sale on June 26, 2009.
Pallbearers will be Fireman. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Whitley, Blaine Gillie, Allen Blanton, Woody Sessums, Bradley Sessums, Jeff Morrison, Brien White, and Richard Lenoir.
