A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 25 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Norris officiating. The family will receive friends at their home, 1025 Laurel Lane, from 6 to 8 pm Friday, January 24.
Chad was born September 2, 1978, in Paris to Charlotte Sikes Caffey and John Caffey. He graduated from Paris High School in 1997. Following his high school graduation, he was honored by being selected to an All-American football team which competed in a bowl game in Hawaii. He also attended Sul Ross State University on a football scholarship. He was currently employed as a construction materials testing consultant for GME Consulting Services, Inc. of Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Caffey and his brother, Charlie Caffey. He is survived by his son, John Caffey; his mother Charlotte Caffey, his brother and sister-in-law Chris and Dee Ann Caffey; nieces Holly Caffey and Annabelle Caffey and nephews Alex and Austin Caffey.
Honorary Pallbearers include Pat Weatherford, Jack Hoskins Jr., David Hoskins, Les Malnory, Chris Caffey, Chris Anthony, Michael Ashley, Brock Huggins, Barry Parker, Paul Strom and John Lowry.
