Martha Lenoir, 86 of Paris, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013 at Brentwood Terrace Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
A graveside service has been set for Saturday, December 28th at 11:30 A.M. at Providence Cemetery with Patrick Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
She was born in Paris, Texas on March 14, 1927 to Thomas and Bessie Lenoir.
She is survived by her children, Buddy Jones and wife Dee of Luling, Louisiana and Rebecca “Becky” Nodorft and husband Gary of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew and Joshua Jones, Jennifer West and Amber Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Matthew and Sophia Jones, Gabriel and Sydney West, Nicole and Ian Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bessie Lenoir; and siblings, Bessie Bailey, Christine Larremore, Mary Jo Peace, and Thomas Lenoir.
RUBY FAYE BAKER, 83, left this earth to join the love of her life, W.D. Baker Jr. on December 23, 2013 from the Millennium Nursing Center in Huntsville, Alabama. A visitation will be held at Madison Chapel Funeral Home, 8521 Hwy 72 West, Madison, Alabama, 35758 on Thursday December 26, 2013 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. An additional visitation will be held at Starrett Funeral Home in Paris on Saturday December 28, 2013. Graveside rites are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday December 29, 2013 at Meadowbrook Gardens.
Ruby was born in Garrett’s Bluff, Texas on November 23, 1930 to Dr. James Nathaniel Powell and Ava Mary Smith Powell. Ruby was a dedicated Army wife for over 20 years, who not only raised her family but also made room to help and take in more. Her selflessness and love of children made her arms the place to be for anyone who needed the extra help and love. Ruby was a hard worker, wonderful cook, homemaker, wife, mother and Mamaw. She never met a stranger and was either Mamaw or Aunt Fay to all who met her.
She is survived by her daughters, Claudette Reed and husband David; Jimmie Simmons Gillespie as well as 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 7 great- great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in her loving memory to Hospice, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Veteran’s Airlift Command.

MARY LOU FORD FRY, 85, of Paris, passed from this life on Tuesday December 24, 2013 at Heritage House of Paris. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 pm. Friday December 27, 2013 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home, with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
Mary Lou was born March 3, 1928 in Abernathy, Texas, a daughter of Newman F. and Blanche Ethel Hurley Fisher. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Morris Ford; her second husband, Al Fry; a daughter, Carolyn Watson; a son, Jimmy Ford; a sister, Bonnie Smith and by four brothers, Clifton Holley, Newman Fisher, Haskell Patterson, and Charlie Patterson.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Vickers, of Blossom; granddaughters Renee’ Spencer, Kellie Stringer and husband Steven, Carlie Hicks and husband Cody; a grandson, Dylan Stringer; great-grandchildren Kameron Cooke and husband Aaron; Kason Freelen; Macie Stringer; Kase and Easton Hicks; and a great-great-granddaughter, Kaselyn Cooke.
