Patricia Griffis Hunt, 80, of Blossom, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013, at her home.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Honor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hunt, the daughter of William Edward “Bill” & Lorraine Reasoner Griffis, was born May 13, 1933, in Blossom.
She received her Masters Degree from East Texas State Teacher’s College and was an educator for thirty years before her retirement. Mrs. Hunt was a member of the Blossom Church of God.
Survivors include three sons, Roger Hunt & wife Barbara of Blossom, Bruce Hunt & wife Connie of Georgetown and Richard Hunt & wife Janilyn of Avery, five grandchildren, William Hunt, Rickey Hunt, Renee Blagg, Randi Savage and Jayme Hall, five great grandchildren, a brother,Billy Ed Griffis & wife Mae of Blossom along with a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Roger Hunt, Richard Hunt, Bruce Hunt, David Paul Griffis, Billy Hunt & Rickey Hunt.

MARY HELEN LOLLAR, 70, of Paris, died at 6:10 PM, Saturday, December 21, 2013. A graveside service was held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 23, 2013 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Bill Dickey officiating. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
Mary was born December 23, 1942 in the Jennings community of Lamar County, Texas to Otto and Hazel Faye Dockery Jones. She married Jerry Lollar on November 5, 1960 in Paris. He died August 19, 2012. Mary was a homemaker and member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lollar is survived by her son, Gerry Don Lollar; grandsons, Tyler, Matthew, and Jeremy Lollar; sisters, Bonnie Jones Frazier and Wanda Jones Archer; sisters-in-law, Linda Lovin, Sherry Brown, and Pat Lollar; and her special caregiver from Cypress Basin Hospice, Brenton Kyle Black. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Ray Jones and a sister, Shirley Jones Pate.
