Patricia Gail “Pat” Christie, 66, of Powderly, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Pat, the daughter of C. O. & Doris Lucille Haney Joplin, was born Dec. 19, 1946, in Bovina, Texas.
She attended Bovina High School. She loved being a caregiver for others and for a number of years has been a caregiver in the Dallas area. She had a big heart and always put the needs of others before her own.
Her husband, Eddie Christie, her parents and a sister, Elaine Joplin, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Loyd & husband Rodney Loyd of Powderly, a son, Tim Robbins & wife Vickie of Idabel, OK, four grandchildren including Cody Clausius and Tyler Perry, eight great grandchildren including Ryan Clausius, two sisters, Lynette Eckelt & husband Buddy of Tulsa, OK and Shirley Alsup & husband Bernie of Bartlesville, OK, several nieces & nephews including Cathy Eckelt of Tulsa, OK along with her close friend, Pete.
