Kenneth Roy Scarberry, 56, of Paris, died at 8:40 AM, Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Brentwood Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Springhill Cemetery with Tyler Creamer officiating. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of cremation arrangements.
Kenneth was born November 1, 1956 in Hugo, Oklahoma to O.L. and Willa Mae Shirley Scarberry. Mr. Scarberry graduated from CooperHigh School and attended East Texas State University. He served his country during the Vietnam Era in the United States Army. He married Patricia J. Creamer on August 20, 1982 in Hugo. Mr. Scarberry was a Baptist minister and worked for the Texas Department of Corrections. He was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia J. Scarberry of Paris; two children, Delaina Dawn Scarberry of Paris and Kenneth R. Scarberry, Jr. of Commerce; his brother, Charles Ray Scarberry of Pratt, Kansas; and a sister, Cathey D. Scarberry McCullough of Dallas; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mildred and George Pratt of Paris. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Raymond Eugene Spears, 74, of Paris died Monday January 21, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday Jan. 25, at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Millsap officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday 6-7 p.m.
Raymond was born May 3, 1938 in Deport, TX a son of Roy Oliver and Pearlie Mae Henderson Spears. He married Martha Fae Turner in Paris in 1955. He retired from Campbell Soup after 30 years of employment.
He was preceded in death by his parents; children Earnest Spears and Kimmy Spears and a sister Wanda Marie Michel.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Martha Spears; children Martha Wyant, Roy Spears, Crystal Spears; grandchildren Danny Clack, Michael Tillery, Kay Tucker, Landan Jackson, Lacy Jackson, Desiree Sipriano, Brandon Spears, Stylles Spears, Arlissa Spears and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Casey Spears, Michael Tillery, Danny Clack, Chris Naylor, Malachi Wyant, Glenn Wyant and Styles Spears.
