Zora Mae (Jodie) Wilson Davidson, 66 of Paris, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Plano Medical Center. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Bethel Temple Church with Reverend Ralph Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Blanton Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Monday, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Davidson was born April 24, 1946 in Lamar County to Gilbert Blanton and Zora Evelyn Evans Blanton. She attended Powderly High School and was a member of Bethel Temple Church. She loved sewing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Wayne Wilson and her son, Dewayne Wilson.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Wilson of Paris; three sons, Kenneth Wilson & wife Carmen of Paris, Jerry Wilson & wife Laura of Gladewater and David Wilson of Paris; one sister, Martha Adams & husband Scottie of Brookston; one brother, Jesse Blanton & wife Ruth of Paris; a half brother, Leon Miller & wife Tina of Paris; four step-brothers, James Miller, Jimmy Miller, Jackie Miller and Gene Miller all of Paris; two step-sisters, Mary Chamland of Paris and Exie Lue England; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be Jerry Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, Jesse Blanton, Kevin Jackson, Jeffery Blanton, Sammie Murray and Billy Huey.
